It’s that time of year again, and if you’re used to being stretched, you’re probably feeling double the pull. But although you may be physically tired because women who “do too much” usually are, something else may be going on. If you’re feeling any of the following, it may be that your soul (deepest level of being) needs some recharging.
Feeling like there’s something more to life but you just can’t put your finger on it. Although your life isn’t bad by any means, something is missing and you don’t know exactly what that is.
You’re more irritable than usual and it’s not due to the normal exhaustion. You seem to feel frustrated with yourself because you feel that at this point in your life, you should have it more together but you really can’t define to yourself what that means, hence being annoyed with not being able to “figure it out.”
What you believed was important doesn’t seem to be the priority. You emphasized in the past goals, achievements, material things, and yet at this point in your life, they’re good to have but they don’t fulfill a deeper need of connection and making an impact.
It feels like Groundhog Day. You keep doing the same things over and over again, and instead of feeling energized by your routine, you feel complacent and wonder why you can’t change up what no longer seems to bring you pleasure and enthusiasm.
You wonder what your legacy would be. Although you care about the people around you, you’re questioning what exactly your life has meant in relation to them. Maybe it’s time to get their feedback because you feel blocked about it.
If you relate to any of these, it’s time to put your own self-care first. Your soul is calling out for MORE. It’s not in the material things and it’s not about another achievement; it’s about a deeper understanding of what life is all about. Take time for reflection, reach out to people who seem to have a more positive outlook that’s not fake but real.
