He listens AND remembers
Women tend to be better listeners than men, so take note when your partner is bringing up things you don’t even remember you said. Maybe he shows you this by trying to brighten your day after you mentioned you had a tough week, or got you the book you mentioned you were interested in reading two months ago. Either way, this shows how much he truly cares.
He is willing to make sacrifices
Relationships consist of compromises and sacrifices. If your partner has adjusted a part of their lifestyle to make you happy, that says a lot about what you mean to them. Did he move to be closer to you and your family? Did he change careers to help support your goals and dreams? Did he give up his pets that he loved because you are allergic? It doesn’t have to be such drastic sacrifices as these, but you get the idea.
He shows his vulnerable side to you
Men do not like to come across as weak to others. When it is love, a guard will come down and you will be able to see a side of your partner that they won’t just show anyone.
He is proud to call you his partner
If he is showing you off, especially to the people who mean the most to him, then he is in love. Men tend to keep less serious relationships away from family and friends. He tells people about your accomplishments because he is proud of who you are. Even when you beat him in a friendly competition, he is happy for you.
He stands up for you
If someone was rude to you and your partner chimed in to save the day, they are a keeper. Someone who is protective of your feelings and well-being has deep feelings for you. It’s safe to say that it’s love.
He treats your family and friends like he would his own
He knows how important these people are to you and that you respect their opinion. He respects them because you love them and he wants to be on their good side.
He thinks your beautiful, even on you’re “worst” days
It’s unlikely that you always put in the effort getting ready that you did for your early relationship date nights. That is completely normal. Sometimes we’re sick and don’t feel we look our best. He never lets you forget how beautiful he thinks you are.
He shows up when you need him the most
When you tell him that you’re upset, he wants to be supportive. He is there to give you a hug and let you cry it out. When you’ve hit a rough patch in life he holds out his hand to lift you up. A man in love is going to be there when his partner needs him.
