The basic definition of the law of attraction is “What you think about, you attract.” Through positively thinking about what you want, you are manifesting a better and more positive outcome for what you want. Below you will find how to attract your soulmate with the law of attraction.
Be specific about your dreams and goals
The law of attraction will not work if your thoughts on your dreams and goals are vague. Be clear and specific about what you want and the universe will respond accordingly.
Make an Ideal Relationship List
To be even more specific about your passion, dreams, and goals, you may want to create an ideal relationship list with a T-chart. With the T-Chart, one side will have all the positives while the other will have negatives (or Don’t Wants). Be clear about what you do and do not want in a relationship. Remember, these ideals have to be true to you and you only. Your dreams, goals, and passions are not for anyone else. If it is not true in your heart, it will not manifest correctly.
Cross off the Don’t Want Side
Once you have created your want and don’t want in a relationship or soulmate, cross off the Don’t Want section. Jack Canfield, an American author, trainer, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur, says, “From now on, use the right side of each list and stay focused on what you do want in your life. There is no need to give any further attention or energy to the list of what you don’t want.”
Work on yourself
While you go about life focusing on the qualities and traits you want your soulmate or relationship to have, make sure to also do some self-work. Work on yourself for you and your soulmate. To attract better, you have to be better. Timothy J. Legg, Ph.D., CRNP lists some of the things that you can do to make yourself a better person to you and others around you:
- Cultivate gratitude
- Greet everyone you meet. Acknowledge those around you
- Detox from social media
- Engage in positive self-talk
