Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late Steve Irwin, shared a sweet video of her daughter Grace admiring a photo mural of Terri, 58, and Steve at the Australian Zoo.
“Oh, it’s koala,” the 24-year-old zookeeper said to Grace, 16 months. “Love for koala, and Bunny and Grandpa Crocodile. Good girl.”
“I love you, sweetheart. Do you love them?” Bindi asked. “Oh Grace, you are the sweetest little person,” she continued as Grace gave the koala in the photo a kiss.
Bindi shared the video on Instagram with the caption: “Tears in my eyes as I share this video. She loves them (and koalas) dearly. On every zoo walk she searches for pictures of her grandparents and it is beyond beautiful.” She also explained that Grace calls her grandmother Bunny and her late grandfather Grandpa Crocodile.
In an interview with PEOPLE this past May, Bindi expressed how much her daughter, who she shares with husband Chandler Powell, admires her grandfather.
“We have so many documentaries of Dad, and we’re always playing them for Grace,” Bindi said. “It’s so fun to watch her study him.”
She continued, “I didn’t realize how much Dad’s passion for life and animated facial expressions — I mean, they captivate her.”
Bindi has also praised her mother, Terri, in a recent birthday post.
“Grace’s Bunny,” Bindi captioned the birthday photo. “Our beautiful daughter is blessed beyond measure to have all the love in the world from my sweet mama. Happy Birthday, Bunny!”
