The Hollywood veteran has made a name for herself in numerous projects like Cheers, Sing, Taxi, and alongside her husband of nearly 40 years in Matilda with Danny DeVito.
In 2017, though, the couple announced they would be separating. Here we are six years later, however, and they are still not divorced, nor do they have any plans whatsoever to pursue a divorce.
But why?
Perlman did a recent interview with Yahoo Life where she talked again about being comfortably separated from the father of her children.
“I like not always having my husband here — I love that we see each other when we want to. He doesn’t have to take me to every function, and I don’t have to take him,” she explained. “We can do separate things and still have a really great time when we’re together.
