Ryan Seacrest reveals that he is ready to have kids…when the time is right. During an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan which was joined by guest-co host Lisa Rinna, Seacreast, 48, revealed his plans regarding the possibility of having a family in the future.
“I think having kids at the right time would be great,” Seacrest shared. “I have a fantastic family, a very small family. I have a niece, [my sister] Meredith has a daughter. My parents have been married 52 and a half years, so that’s a high bar. So that’s in my head.”
This is not the first time Seacrest has been prompted about the possibility of being a father. In December 2021, Seacrest told WSJ Magazine that he ‘does want to have kids’ and that in the past year that the decision had become clearer.
Recently while at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Seacrest told E!News, “Spending time with these kids and spending time with my niece is definitely something that I love. You know, I have a very close family, a very tight family, so I love family. So, I guess we’ll see.”
Currently Seacrest is dating 25-year old model Aubrey Paige but has no plans to rush to tie the knot between them. During Lisa Rinna’s appearance on his show he revealed that his parents’ long-term marriage weighs in his head when it comes to getting married.
Seacrest previoulsy spoke in 2017 about his marriage plans with Live co-host Kelly Rippa. “The truth is I have this thing that I don’t want to screw it up, and a lot of times they get screwed up,” he told co-host Kelly Ripa at the time. “And so, I figured the longer I wait, the older I’ll be, the closer to death I am so I can get it in and not screw it up.”
