Vanna White has successfully negotiated a $100K per episode paycheck for ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’. While fans are gladdened that the longtime cast member is finally getting proper credit, it seems that her negotiations for the original show, ‘Wheel of Fortune’, have begun to stall.
White makes $3 million a year for her work on ‘Wheel’, significantly less than her male counterpart, Pat Sajak, who pulled $15 million. She was previously asking for $7 million, just under half of what Sajak made.
TMZ claims that the studio has been “unresponsive” to her request, with an insider claiming that they believed they were overpaying Sajak, and that this number is more appropriate.
“It’s gonna get ugly if they [Sony] don’t get more serious,” another source stated.
