The ongoing divorce battle between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner continues to develop as the former couple was spotted outside a Santa Barbara courthouse where they continued to argue about the terms of their separation.
One of the most pressing issues in their divorce being how much child support Baumgartner will receive from Costner monthly. Baumgartner is challenging the former Yellowstone alum for 175,000 dollars in child support monthly while her ex’s legal team proposed a lower amount of 60,000.
A surprising request during the hearing included Christine’s lawyers requesting documentation about any “expenses paid by you, or any person at your request or on your behalf, relating to any extramarital romantic relationships.” Kevin and his team have denied the allegations of infidelity and added that Costner did not know if Christine had engaged in any such relationships either.
This is not the first time infidelity has been brought up in the couple’s ongoing legal battle. Earlier this summer a former tenant of Costner denied having an affair with Baumgartner.
The divorce battle has been messy, with the couple clashing over the terms of their prenuptial agreement and child support payments. Christine, who shares three children with Kevin, filed for divorce in May after 18 years of marriage. She has accused Kevin of withholding evidence, stonewalling, and being evasive when it comes to his finances, suggesting that he has been hiding the details of his salary from his time on Yellowstone.
A trial is set for November where Christine’s legal team will argue the terms of her and Costner’s original prenup when they first wed in 2004. The prenup also agrees that Christine would receive a $1.5 million payout should they divorce, but she risks forfeiting the money by challenging the divorce settlement.
