A woman “in peril” was rescued from a kidnapping, after mouthing the words “save me” at a police officer.
The unnamed woman was showing “clear signs of physical abuse” when police responded to a call. Jordan Garrett, 30, was later arrested on kidnapping and s*xual battery.
“The Cape Coral Police Department condemns these heinous acts and is dedicated to ensuring justice for the victim,” the police department said.
Garrett is being held on $190,000 bond.
