Jane Fonda, 86, admitted on a recent podcast that she’s “ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he’d have to be 20.”
The reason why? Simple, yet confusing:
“Because I don’t like old skin, and consequently, I don’t want to foist that on anybody else. I assume other people are like me, I just don’t like old skin.”
While one would imagine that Fonda likely has plausible suitors lined up, it’s comforting to know that the concept was pitched—mostly!—in jest.
