Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella (19), finished her radiation treatment on Tuesday for a brain tumor.
Isabella is “very excited to finally be done” with radiation for a “fast-growing, four-centimeter tumor”.
“It’s been a long six weeks and I’m very happy to hopefully heal my head after all of this, because the side effects and everything get to you and I’m hoping I won’t be dizzy.”
Isabella isn’t out of the woods, yet. She will begin chemotherapy in February, but for now, she’s celebrating a victory against this terrible disease.
“So excited to ring that bell. Never thought I’d be ringing the bell.”
Strahan, for his part, is staying strong for his daughter in the face of adversity, saying “you keep on living, Isabella. You’re inspiring us every single day we’re around you, and we love you. We’re here for you, and you’ve got this. In 60 or 70 years… you’ll be here, baby.”
