“Desperate Housewives” star, Eva Longoria, found the man of her dreams, Jose “Pepe” Baston, after two previous marriages. She says that the wisdom of age helped her in knowing when the connection was perfect.
“But I do think finding love at 40 — I found Pepe when I was 40 and he was 50 — It was just like, ‘Can we just enjoy this life together?’ I mean, I do yell at him for the toothbrush or something like that still.”Longoria married twice before: to actor, Tyler Christopher and basketball player, Tony Parker. Christopher and Longoria were married from 2002 to 2004. Though the young couple had a lot in common, as both were starring on soap operas during their marriage, they separated, with Longoria musing later,
“He was a lovely man, but I was very young. I didn’t know who I was, and I was still struggling as an actor. I was a terrible wife.”
Her second marriage was not easier. At the end of their seven years together, Tony Parker was caught by a Sports Illustrated journalist, Bryan Armen Graham, in an affair with his former teammate’s wife. Longoria would later release a divorce announcement and ask her friend, Mario Lopez, to make the following announcement:
“Eva wants everyone to know she’s devastated by the rumors of Tony’s infidelity,” he said. “She loved her husband and is heartbroken about their split.”
Now, Longoria and her current husband, Baston, have been deeply committed to one and other.
“He hates when I post pics of him, but my husband is the best human being I know,” she wrote. “We travel the world together, we laugh together, we love each moment together in pure joy. You are my angel Pepe Baston, put on this earth to fill my heart with love and happiness. Te amo vida mía! 💋”
