Early Tuesday morning, supermodel Naomi Campbell debuted an Instagram post welcoming her first child. At age 50, Campbell said she was “honoured” to welcome her daughter into her life and called her a “beautiful blessing”.
The post featured a photo of Naomi holding her newborn’s feet, along with the caption:
“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.“

The post’s comment section included many supportive remarks from Campbell’s famous friends, including actress Zoe Saldana and designer, Marc Jacobs, who commented:
“Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around.”

Campbell has always expressed an open desire to have children. In a 2018 interview with Vogue Arabia, Campbell said, “I’d love to have kids. I don’t discount anything in my life.” She furthered her desire, “I love kids and always will. When I’m around children, I become a child myself. That’s the little girl I don’t ever want to lose.”
The supermodel and actress welcomed her first child without any indication or acknowledgment to the public or on social media.
