Jamie Lee Curtis is rocking white hair, after years of her signature gray. In 2021, she said:
“I tried to do everything you can do to your hair. Personally, I felt it humiliating. I would go into a hair salon, the smell of the chemicals, the feeling of that color on my hair, the wearing the things, sitting under the hair dryer, I was like, ‘For what?’ […]
“Since then, I also stopped dyeing it, and then I’ve also been an advocate for not f—— with your face. And the term ‘anti-aging.’ What?! What are you talking about? We’re all gonna f—— age.”
The question remains: why does it seem like society only cares when women show signs of age? She thinks the double standard is unfair.
“I don’t want to hide from (my age) it as if it’s a bad thing. We’re all learning that people are on fire from it. It’s an inside job, we’re so confused on the outside, but the joy of being my age is an inside infrastructure.”
