44-year-old elementary school art teacher, Amanda Webster, has been missing in Puerto Rico since October 11th. A body was recently found in a river and authorities are concerned it may belong to Webster.
Though the police report was initially written in Spanish, a police translation via People read in part, “at this stage, it is not possible to identify the gender of the body or conclude whether it shows signs of violence.”
Webster was declared missing after not returning to a rental property to retrieve her belongings.
“(Webster) was an incredible, positive light for her friends and family,” Webster’s close friend, Sharon Rickson told the outlet. “A lot of people are going to be feeling this loss.”
