Carrie Underwood, famed country artist, just received the most unusual gift for Christmas from her husband, Mike Fisher, but she is living for it.
The 37-year-old artist said in an interview with ET Canada that Fisher got her cows for Christmas.
Underwood gushes to ET Canada, saying she loves them.
“He got me cows, which is what I wanted,” Underwood said. “They’re my favorite animal. I love them. They make me so happy.”
She clarified that she didn’t want them for a specific purpose, but just love and care for them.
While Underwood loved her Christmas gift from her husband, she admits that she is not a good gift giver. For the most part, the artist usually doesn’t want anything for Christmas.
“I’m actually not a good gift-giver,” she admits to ET Canada. “I will tell my husband like, ‘Don’t get me anything’ ’cause that means I have to get him something. I’m so awful!”
With the holidays looking a little different this year, she said she was able to be “a little more on point” with the decorations and Christmas shopping. She even adds that this year, she was able to get her husband a present.
She jokes with the interviewer, revealing that it depends on the day if she’s on her husband’s “nice” list. Though, she discloses her relationship with her husband is going well so far.
“I think I’m pretty good. I mean, we’ve made it through a difficult year with a whole lot of together time. So I feel like that’s good.”
You can get her first-ever holiday album, My Gift, and watch a behind-the-scenes video special on HBO Max, titled, “My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood.”
