As reported by ENews, Celine Dion has a rare neurological disorder, Stiff Person Syndrome.
Celine opened up to fans on instagram, just recently,”I wasn’t ready to say anything before, but I’m ready now. I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.” She went on to say that the spasms she is experiencing impact every aspect of her life.
“Sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I’m used to.”
As much as Celine loves hers fans and music, she added…
“It hurts me to tell you today, this means, that I won’t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February.”
Celine was slated for the Courage World Tour which will not be happening when expected.
People.com suggests, the condition, according to the Stiff Person Syndrome Foundation, affects the central nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord. The neurological disease with autoimmune features can include symptoms like hyper-rigidity, debilitating pain, chronic anxiety, and muscle spasms.
