Emma Heming showed her love for her husband’s ex-wife in a throwback photo.
On Tuesday, Heming shared an old picture of her husband Bruce Willis and his ex Demi Moore with each other on her Instagram Story.
The photo was originally shared by a celebrity fan account who posted a collection of photos of Willis in celebration of his 68th birthday.
Heming reposted the picture and captioned it, “Yeah. Me too. I liked them together as well.”
The Die Hard star’s current wife has always been supportive of Demi and welcomed her involvement in their lives with open arms for as long as they’ve been married.
Willis and Moore were married from 1987 to 2000 and welcomed three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Even just after their divorce, Bruce expressed how close they were still with each other.
“We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we’re probably as close now as we ever were,” he said in 2000, per US Weekly. “We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside.”
Come 2009, Willis and Heming married and continued to welcome two more daughters, Evelyn and Mabel.
Together, the three parents have made their blended family work without a problem and they all remain extremely close and supportive of each other. Heming and Moore even posted a joint Instagram post, thanking fans for their support. The post closed,
“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis. In Love & Gratitude, Ladies of Willis/Moore”.
For Bruce and Emma’s 10th wedding anniversary, they renewed their vows and made sure to invite Demi, where she participated as the videographer.
“[Demi] welcomed me into her family like I welcomed her into ours,” Heming said at the time. “Again, I have so much respect for her. I have so much respect for how Bruce and Demi worked through their divorce to be able to put their children first. I learned so much from that and grew so much from watching that. It was important for her to be [at the vow renewal]. She was at our first wedding. I loved having her there again. I wouldn’t do it without her.”
The whole family has been particularly close as of recently as they are together dealing with the grief of Bruce’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis.
So, this expression of support that Emma is showing is just another example as to how she and Demi intend on staying close with each other both for Bruce and for their children.
