Jamie Foxx’s ‘All-Star Weekend’ co-star, Natalie Blasick, is revealing what she knows about the performer’s condition:
“I was texting him, and just yesterday I talked to his friend, who’s like really in touch with him. I was, like, really freaking out [with] all of the news that he’s getting worse,” Blasick told the outlet. “So I was texting [his friend], and he’s like, ‘No, no, no, he’s recovering.'”
Blasick is the latest to comment on Foxx’s condition, with other colleagues like Kevin Hart and Nick Cannon making comments. While Hart admits he does not know “the exact details as to what’s going on”, he relays an optimistic message:
“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy — all that stuff is seen and felt,” “So in this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home.”
Cannon, for his part, has promised to do something “special” for the recovering Foxx, recently announcing that he will be taking over Foxx’s hosting gig on the show, ‘Beat Shazam’, while Foxx recovers. He told Entertainment Tonight, “I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.”
Representatives for Foxx have not yet disclosed the nature of his “medical complication”, but Foxx’s Instagram has been active this week, posting an update about his condition.
