The notoriously private Keanu Reeves made headlines last year after he stepped out with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant. A source close to Reeves said that “Keanu wants to openly share his life with her. He is extremely happy and grateful to have Alex in his life. [They] started dating earlier this year, but have wanted to keep it quiet.”Grant and Reeves had worked together on several projects since 2011 where Grant provided illustrations for Reeves’ book Ode to Happiness.
Their creative partnership would have them work together again in 2016 when they made another book titled Shadows. The duo founded X Artist’s Books in 2017, which is a publishing house that focuses on art-centered stories.
Last year Grant spoke with Vogue about the public reaction to her and Reeves’ red carpet appearance: “I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating, but the question I’ve been asking in all of this is: ‘What is the opportunity for good,” she said.
Grant would speak again with People about her experiences with Reeves: “The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun,” she told People. “I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.”
The sentiments were shared by Reeves as he talked to People in March 2023 about him and Grant. “A couple of days ago with my honey,” he told PEOPLE. “We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
As Revees and Grant move forward, we hope they continue to love one another fully and relish in their moments together.
