Hilary Swank celebrated Easter with a few more mouths to feed this year.
The Million Dollar Baby star posted to Instagram Sunday night holding her newborn twins while watching the sunset over the shoreline.
“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it,” she captioned the photo. “Happy Easter! Posting from pure heaven.”
Friends and fellow celebrities poured into the comment section to congratulate the 48-year-old mother of two.
“Welcome home angels ❤️,” Mariska Hargitay, who was Hilary’s maid of honor at her 2018 wedding, wrote.
“Aaaaahhhh!!!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote an evidently excited Viola Davis.
Even Sharon Stone basked in the congratulatory celebration, writing, “God bless honey. This is the most extraordinary journey ever ❣️🌹so happy for you all.”
The twins are Swank’s first children whom she welcomed with her husband of five years, Philip Schneider.
Taking us along her pregnancy journey with frequent posts on Instagram showing off her baby (babies) bump, she first announced she was expecting in October last year while appearing on Good Morning America.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” she said at the time. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”
Last month, Hilary posted to her Instagram in anticipation of welcoming her twins.
On March 19, she posted an ultrasound photo of “Baby A” aka “The Real Million Dollar Baby”.
She posted again a week or so later, asking her followers if she should add Salt N Pepa’s hit song “Push It” to her playlist that would play during her delivery process.
Sharon Stone joked that playing that song “will make u want to blow your brains out”.
Swank hasn’t revealed her twins’ names yet, but the least we can confirm is that the delivery went smoothly and her children are in fine health.
