When Dylan Lauren had her fifth birthday party, she watched Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, beginning a love for candy that would culminate in the opening of her store, Dylan’s Candy Bar, in New York City in 2001. Its 2008 renovation made it the largest candy store in the world.
The daughter of designer Ralph Lauren, Dylan is an accomplished entrepreneur. Her candy empire not only includes the NYC flagship store, but also locations in Orlando, Houston and two on Long Island. Her products are carried in select Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, and Juicy Couture stores. Known as the “Candy Queen,” Dylan was named one of the Crain’s 40 under 40 rising stars.
In the spirit of the season, we checked out Dylan’s Halloween treats at her store. Take a look below and find more here.
