Nathan Millard, a father from Georgia, has been missing since last Wednesday. He was on a work trip and in contact with his wife of nine years, Amber Millard, when he went to meet a client at a bar after a basketball game. He left the bar at 11:30, while his client paid their tab, and then vanished into thin air.
The hotel staff report that his room was tidy and unused. At the time he disappeared, Millard “was wearing a green ball cap, black shirt and blue jeans,” as reported by the Baton Rouge police department.
“He never made it back to his hotel and it’s just an open investigation, for a missing person,” Amber Willard told the media. “I’m praying for a miracle, that he makes it home safely to us. It’s a nightmare that I want to wake up from. This is my worst nightmare. My mind has been going nonstop, but I can’t let my mind torture me.”
Records show debit card transactions for Millard “about four blocks from the hotel” from that evening, with surveillance photos showing a man of a different race using it twice the following morning.
“He’s a loved man,” Amber said. “A great man and we need him, we want him home.”
People with any tips or evidence regarding this case are being asked to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department’s Missing Persons Division or Crime Stoppers at (225) 389-3853 and (225) 344-7867, respectively.
We pray for Nathan Millard’s safe return.
