A very happy 17th anniversary to our favorite couple, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban! The two have spent the last decades of their lives creating a “quiet, simple” life for themselves and their two children.
Kidman posted a spicy photograph on her Instagram in honor of the occasion.
She also posted a video of Urban pulling her onstage in Las Vegas, to wish her a happy birthday.
In the video, Urban tells the audience, “We’ve got wives in the house. Bare-footed wives, by the way. That’s a good look for you. That’s a sunshine hippie. Happy birthday, baby girl.”
It only took Kidman five months to know that Urban was the one, saying, “It was my [38th] birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York. That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry.”
Urban had gotten Kidman’s number several months earlier, but avoided calling her, out of fear that he would be rejected. “Literally, I was like, ‘There’s no way this girl is interested in me at all. So someone had given me her number, and I couldn’t bring myself to call that number. I was nervous.”
