It’s official: Hollywood heartthrob Chris Evans is off the market! Captain America said “I do” over the weekend, marrying his girlfriend of two years, actress Alba Baptista, in a private ceremony held at a picturesque backyard in Massachusetts.
The ceremony was a small and intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t star-studded! Multiple reports say that many of Evans’ fellow Avengers members were in attendance, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.
This news comes as a surprise as the Knives Out star has always kept his personal life private. He and Baptista first sparked dating rumors in 2022, when they were spotted walking together in New York City. Since then, the couple has kept a relatively low profile, rarely appearing in public together or sharing details about their relationship on social media.
But it’s clear that Evans and Baptista are head over heels for each other. In a rare interview earlier this year, Evans opened up about his desire to settle down and start a family.
“I love the idea of tradition and ceremony,” he said. “I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating thatāI can’t think of anything better.”
