The humble wheat penny… more than likely, there are a few in every house in the U.S.. But, did you know some can sell for as high as $200K?
Wheat pennies were in production between 1909 – 1955, with the most valuable additions being the bronze 1945 wheat penny. While some variations are worth as little as five cents, it’s certainly worth a dig through the junk drawer!
The most valuable of any collectable coins are the uncirculated ones, so don’t assume you’re a hundred-thousand dollars richer for each you find, but don’t run to the Coinstar yet!
