Hugh Grant, 62, has five children from two relationships. His firstborn, eleven-year-old Tabitha, is the child of his previous girlfriend, Tinglan Hong. Later, he would welcome now ten-year-old John Mungo, named for his father, with producer Anna Eberstein. Grant’s name wouldn’t be added to John’s birth certificate for nearly a year after her birth.
Evidentially, Eberstein became pregnant with John shortly before Hong became pregnant with their second child, 9-year-old Felix.
Eberstein, now Grant’s girlfriend instead of Hong, would give him two more children: 5 and 6-year-olds whose names have yet to be released. Eberstein and Grant married in 2018, when Grant was 57 and Eberstein was 38.
Grant has said, about his fatherhood, that “anyone with young children would probably agree that it’s simultaneously the worst time in your life and the best. On a day-to-day basis, as you tread on another broken toy with a hangover, it’s just awful. But when you look back at the photographs on your iPhone, you realize, ‘Oh, I have been extremely happy. This is very nice.'”
