Jennifer Garner made headlines in the best way this week, after offering a wheelchair-bound homeless man the shoes off her feet.
“What size feet do you have? Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe,” Garner said, before asking the man’s shoe size and learning that he was a “10 and a half”.
“Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” a paparazzo responded, literally giving the man the shoes off his feet.
“I have no reason not to be nice. My life is lovely. I’m not always just nice,” Garner said before, when explaining her worldview. “I can also be salty, and I can be taciturn, or I can be really serious about what I want to get done. It’s not that I feel I’m underestimated in that way—I’m not afraid to stand up for myself and say, ‘Just so you know, this isn’t going to fly with me.’ When that happens, I don’t want you to be shocked that I’m a real person.”
