Jon Bon Jovi has opened up about what he really thinks of his son, Jake Bongiovi’s, 20, engagement to Millie Bobby Brown, 19.
“I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really: growing together is wise. Growing together. I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like ’em all.”
Growth is a theme for Bon Jovi, as he said about his relationship with his wife in 2016, “Somehow it works. I think because we grow at the same rate. We grew equally and not in opposite directions.”
Beyond which, the rocker seems confident that the union will be successful, “Millie is wonderful. The whole family is great—really great. Jake is very, very happy.”
Jake and Millie made their clandestine announcement via Instagram:
The picture shows Brown wearing a ring that Kathryn Money, SVP of merchandizing and retail expansion at Brilliant Earth, suggests that the ring could be worth between $75,000 – $100,000.
Jake Bongiovi is a Syracuse University graduate, hoping to make a name in the acting industry.
