27-year-old Logan Clegg has been convicted on 11 different counts, resulting from the death of Stephen and Djeswende “Wendy” Reid.
Clegg was found guilty on four counts of second-degree murder, four counts of falsifying physical evidence, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Clegg was living in a tent in the woods of New Hampshire, when he shot the Reids as they hiked past. The Reids, who were described as “avid outdoors people”, were shot multiple times. Reid later burnt his tent and erased his computer. He later bought a ticket to Germany and was arrested in the airport, where he had a gun on his person.
