A Massachusetts woman has been found alive after being missing for a week. Emma Tetewsky was taking her normal walk through Borderland State Park, when she vanished without a trace, near a pond in the park.
A week later, Emma was found by another hiker, partially submerged in a mud puddle.
Police said that “Emma was conscious and alert and she was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for observation.” She did not have any food or water for the entire week. Police say that she left her phone behind, when she went for this walk.
“There were so many agencies involved in the search for Emma over the last week. We thank everyone involved,” the Stoughton Police Department put out in a statement. “The public never gave up hope that she would be located safely. She could not have been located without the public’s help.”
