The 41-year-old actress was recently spotted smiling at a French Ligue 1 match where Paris Saint-Germain faced off against Clermont Foot 63 at Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, France. Her appearance comes days after rumors of her husband, Benjamin Millepied, having an affair came to public light.
Milliepied, 45, and Portman have been married since 2012 and share two kids Aleph, 12, and Amalia, 6. Their relationship began when Millepied left his long-term girlfriend to be with Portman following their collaboration on the 2009 Black Swan set.
During a 2018 SiriusXM interview, Portman spoke about the couple’s first time meeting. “It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don’t know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, ‘Oh this is the person,’” she said.
The rumors about Millepied’s infidelity came following the publication of an article from French news source Voici. A source close to the couple disclosed to People Magazine that the affair was ‘short-lived and over.’’
“He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,” says the source. “Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.”
Another close source said “They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family.”
No public comments have been made by Millepied or Portman at this time.
