Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye have been married for over twenty-five years and Pierce is here to confirm that Shaye still makes him weak in his knees. Pierce and Keely met at a bar in Mexico back in 1994 where things changed forever. Pierce says that Keely is his ‘North Star’ and affectionately refers to her as ‘my girl.’
Keely frequently is found in the spotlight where her weight has been ridiculed and criticized. However, Brosnan reaffirmed that his wife is the apple of his eye.
On their 25th anniversary, Pierce shared a photo to Instagram of him and his wife where they stared lovingly into each other’s eyes. “Thank you for the love my love of these past 25 years onwards,” Pierce wrote.
Pierce spoke with Fox News about his relationship with his wife recently. “We like each other a lot. We love each other a lot,” Pierce said. “And we’ve been down the road, and we’ve seen many, many hardships as families do, as we all do.”
“But watching someone grow up with you and grow old with you is a very spiritual journey,” he continued of Keely. “To watch each other change … whatever it may be, the hair, the waist. But it’s the love in the heart.”
Last year Keely opened up with PEOPLE where she explained her favorite thing about Pierce.
“His heart,” she said. “He has a big heart, generous, warm, kind heart.”
