Rachel Zoe, the 49-year-old fashion designer, says she is scarred for life after watching her 9-year-old son fall 40 feet from a ski lift on Sunday.
The designer posted on her Instagram Story yesterday, revealing that her son, Skyler Morrison, was rushed to the emergency room after the 40-foot fall.
In her Instagram story, she shared a picture of Skyler in a hospital surrounded by her other son Kaius Jagger, 7, and husband Rodger Berman. In a caption, she wrote that situations like these “remind everyone how fragile life is and how it can turn in a minute.”
Although she did not report where the accident happened, many fans have speculated the accident happened in Colorado.
Thankfully, her son is recovering from the fall in the hospital and seems to be doing just fine.
Zoe said, “the outcome is Sky is doing great and the bravest boy I’ve ever known but @rbermanus (Rodger Berman, her husband) and I are shattered and numb but woke up together in gratitude for the miracle that Sky is safe and OK.”
In another clip on the fashion designer’s Instagram story, Sky shows the audience he is fine by standing and walking in his pajamas.
“Hi everyone. I’m OK, just sore,” Sky said. “To show you that I’m OK, I’m gonna stand up — see look, I can stand up — and I can walk. See, I’m totally fine, it’s just I’m a little sore and I’m kinda hurting, but I’m fine.”
With her son recovering well, she thanked her followers for all their hopes and prayers, saying she and her husband were scarred for life, but grateful for the well-wishes.
“Skyler read every message and is so happy and grateful as am I it means everything to feel the love and healing coming this way,” Zoe said.
Zoe recently updated her profile saying, “And just like that after experiencing an actual miracle..#Sky is almost ? percent back to himself. I cannot yet retell the story as it really happened but @rbermanus and I will heal our pain with time knowing that Sky is ok and stronger than ever. I don’t typically share traumatic moments with my community, but the love we felt from so many of you was overwhelming and healed us all. Both Skyler and I have endless gratitude for your kindness and we will never forget it. Sky is the bravest little soul that was indeed saved by an angel ?? . He wanted me to share this today because he felt bad so many people were so worried about him. To all the parents, please please hug your babies of any age extra tight from us today. Thank you again for your love we truly felt it deeply.”
