Ryan O’Neal was laid to rest on Saturday, alongside his lifelong love, Farrah Fawcett. O’Neal died of congestive heart failure at the age of 82.
His son, Patrick, gave a statement that read, in part, “[O’Neal] passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us.”
O’Neal’s son, Griffin, 59, claims that only one of O’Neal’s four sons, Patrick, was invited to the funeral. Tatum O’Neal and Redmond Fawcett-O’Neal were also not in attendance.
Griffin, for his part, seems to have some sour feelings.
“I wasn’t even invited to send him off. I’m the hated son who told the truth. Dark times in this family. Love means never having to say you’re sorry—and Ryan never did, to anyone.”
