UPDATE 12/05/2023: A representative for Shannen Doherty has revealed that she is remaining “full steam ahead” and has a “plethora of gigs on the horizon”.
While the actress continues to suffer from stage-4 metastasized cancer, she shows no signs of stopping her career.

“When you ask yourself, ‘Why me? Why did I get cancer?’ and then ‘Why did my cancer come back? Why am I stage 4?,’ that leads you to look for the bigger purpose in life,” she said, describing her struggle. Doherty has been public with her illness, bringing hope and solace to people dealing with similar issues.
“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better,” she continued. “I’m just not — I’m not done.”
She admits, “I don’t want to die”, but hopes to spend her time bringing awareness and a message of hope.
