Sharon Stone is drifting into the Costner/Baumgartner divorce, by comparing recent developments to events in her divorce to Phil Bronstein.
Baumgartner was brought to tears in court as she showed pictures of her children’s lifestyle in their family home — the house that Baumgartner refused to vacate earlier in the proceedings — and told the presiding judge that, “It’s so much more than this — it’s an experience. We’ve created quite a community.”
Baumgartner’s lawyer argued in court that luxury goods and services were “in their [the childrens’] DNA at this point”.
Sharon Stone commented on an Instagram post of an article about this hearing, commenting, “My ex thought the same,” with a crying/laughing emoji.
Bronstein famously divorced Stone in 2003, ending in a years-long custody battle, which would have her lose custody of the couple’s adopted son, Roam. Roam would eventually reconnect with his mother and Stone would go onto adopt two more children.
