The “Rocky” star and three-time Oscar nominee is taking to the screen once again; the only difference, this time, his co-stars are his family. The Family Stallone is set to be released by Paramount+ on May 17th and will follow around Stallone alongside his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and their three daughters, Scarlet, Sistine, and Scarlet.
While promoting the show before its release, Stallone revealed to ET the full extent of his involvement in his daughter’s relationships.
“He actually gives the best dating advice of all of us,” Sophia says, while her mother Jennifer chimes in, “He actually writes their breakup texts.”
The Oscar-nominated screenwriter had nothing else to say beyond “Guilty. I’m a good writer.”
But middle-daughter Sisitine included that her father’s personal writing flair sometimes translates into these breakup texts. “He always wants to end with, ‘Keep punching.’ So, I delete that part. But everything else is so good,” Sistine shares.
Stallone’s behavior seems to come with good cause as many men try to enter the family to, as Sophia says, “Square up to [Sylvester] or be him because they’re in love with him.”
Their tight-knit energy is similar to that of the Kardashians, who dominate the family reality-tv scene, but the Stallone family wants prospective viewers to know that: “They’ve done it so right. And it works for them and there would be no point copying them,” Sistine says.
Stallone said his family would stick to their authenticity “Because that’s what we are.”
The Family Stallone is set to premiere via Paramount+, and according to the Stallone family, the show is more of a docuseries than a reality show with Jennifer Stallone quipping in that they would be showing “real life things that happen.”
