After Snoop Dogg’s 24-year-old daughter had a stroke yesterday, which signals an upsetting rise in major strokes among young people.
Around 10% of strokes occur in patients younger than 50 years old and the risk is on the rise. High blood pressure, drug use, and sedentary lifestyles only increase the risk of stroke. Currently, ischemic strokes, the most dangerous variation, is up 43% in men, compared to women.
