Steve Harvey recently defended his third wife, Marjorie Harvey, from cheating allegations, citing that Marjorie would never be unfaithful and that he, in fact, had been unfaithful to previous partners.
Harvey has been married twice before, to Mary Lee Shakelford and Marcia Harvey. Marcia and Steve were married from 1981 to 1994, then Steve married Mary from 1996 until 2005.
Marcia accused Steve of living with Mary Lee before their divorce was finalized. She was awarded $36,000 in restitution after their marriage and went onto become a published author and businesswoman worth between $1 and $10 million.
Mary Lee and Steve ended on poor terms, with Mary Lee not only accusing Harvey of “excessive infidelity”, but wanted him “charged with a constitutional rights violation, falsifying documents, perjury, contempt of court, embezzlement, extortion and collusion.”
