33 Thomas Street, or the former AT&T Long Lines Building, is a windowless skyscraper in New York City, which stretches 29 stories into the air.
Much has been speculated about the reason for such a building, from use as a telephone interchange to an NSA surveillance hub, but the current owner of the building is not easy to find through topical research.
The brutalist structure was last sold by Verizon in 2009 and is often used in popular culture… but in the literal culture, it’s exact usage remains elusive. Regardless, it is a beautiful and original piece of architecture among the New York skyline.
