It’s being reported that Tina Turner did not get to say goodbye to many members of her family before her passing…and didn’t even get to meet several grandchildren or any of her great-grandchildren during her life.
Turner had four sons; two biological children by Ike Turner, Craig and Ronnie, and two adopted children from Ike’s previous relationship, Ike and Michael. She leaves three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Reportedly, she had met Ronnie’s twin children, Raquel and Randy, on occasion, but not Raquel’s two children. It seems that she also never met Michael’s daughter, Tiffany, or her three children.
Ike Turner’s daughter, Twanna Turner (who was not adopted by Tina) has said, “No one had heard from Tina in a while, it happened so suddenly. It’s time to heal. The family really wants and needs to heal, they have gone through so much, and they continue to go through so much,”
“These two powerhouses were such an entity — there will never be another Ike and Tina.”
