OMG…I loved it. I needed to laugh, and I sure did.
The show is hilarious, one joke after another. The music and lyrics by David Yazbek are so witty and funny. The book by Robert Horn is wonderful as well. And Santino Fontana who plays the lead Michael Dorsey is stellar.
I loved the movie…but the show was fabulous and did not disappoint me. Gender roles are changed around and some of the biases women face are stated, which is good to keep that top of mind.
The only criticism I would say would be trimming the show. I think it could be tightened and lose about 20 minutes.
Go…take a gal pal, or anyone else you like to laugh with. You are in for a treat.
