ORIGINAL ARTICLE: It all started last month, when Kelly Ripa made a simple joke; if she were to win the upcoming Powerball lottery, she would not be returning to the show.
Then, Kelly mysteriously disappeared from several episodes, with her husband, Mark Consuelos, co-hosting alongside Anderson Cooper.
So, what gives? Did Kelly really get the boot?
We’re happy to report that this is just a case of coincidence! Kelly is currently promoting her other show, ‘Generation Gap’, however, it was recently announced that both Kelly and Mark will be taking a leave of absence for the remainder of the summer. Prerecorded episodes will air, instead.
