The best thing about growing older is that you’ve come to terms with who you are as a person. You’ve established your needs and desires, and have built upon your stages of experience. Whether or not one believes it to be true, there’s a lot to be excited about as an older woman with a single status. You can begin your days focusing on the most important thing – yourself.
No obligations
Essentially, you are free to do whatever you like, without being held accountable for another person. Enjoy your nights out late, early exercise routines, and personal favorite meals, and speak to whomever you’d like. There is no one present to share how they feel intimidated by that male friend of yours, or prefer to eat vegetarian. Take advantage of your reality
Spending money
Want to save money to travel to Europe this summer? Go right ahead! Still thinking about that dress in the store window? If you have the money, go and purchase it! There is no partner to ask permission from, no partner to disagree with your traveling plans. If you have a job and are cautious when it comes to spending money, act accordingly and spend wisely. Treat yourself.
Pursue your dream job
If you are with a partner, it’s difficult to chase goals that require your full attention and devoted time. What happened to your dream of becoming a nurse? A teacher? A doctor? Yes, these careers require schooling but provide an everlasting sense of knowledge and appreciation for life. They also require complete devotion, which is much more difficult to obtain when in a relationship.
Affordability
When living with your partner, you most likely are sharing your expenses – food, rent, and gas for vehicles. If single, these aren’t expenses to worry about. Rent will be the cost of your own living, and food will be picked based on your selection and cost values. You’ll still be responsible for financial tasks, but at least they are pertaining to only yourself.
No relationship issues
Take a moment and guess – Who is having complications within their relationship? Not you! The benefit of being single is that you won’t have any romantic drama to grab your attention.
Cleaning
No one enjoys cleaning after the mess of someone else. And if you’re single, you don’t have to! You’ll solely be responsible for cleaning up after yourself.
You feel like you’ve won the jackpot at life right now. Enjoy all the magical moments of your single life.
